Hot Seating

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays blogpost. Is about what I have been doing for Drama so for drama this week we have been doing hot seating. Hot seating is when you have a porson sitting in a chair and they are playing a character from a story or a book and you have other people asking them questions. It be something that you would like to know about them or I can be questions that you had but you could only get the answer from the character because the answer was not in the story.

The Bullet D.L.O

Volume

Hello fellow readers and welocme back todays blogpost. Is about what we have been doing for maths for maths over the week we have been doing perimeter,area and volume but to day we will be talking about volume.

So wen you are doing volume you need to make sure you put a 3 at the end of the letters. The measurements that you need to just are milliliter, liters and kiloliters. In volume you are measureing how much is in something or how little is in something and we also had to convert some of are numbers. Like milliliters into liters, liters into kiloliters, kiloliters into liters.

The Bullet

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays blogpost is about a story called The Bullet. I had to do this for reading this week.So today I will be answering some questions abou the stroy.

Do you think Rodney cares who or what the bullet was meant for? Why do you think that? No i do not think Rodney cared about who or what the bullet was for. Because if he did he would have left it on the ground or given it to the police.

What clues can you find in the text that will help you to understand why the boy might be with the police now? I can tell you that he might be with the police becaues he was selling smoks to kids and he had a bullet in his car.

Why doesn't he look cool any more? What has changed? He doe snot look cool becaues he wa being arrested and might be sent to jail. It changed becaues he was the one looking uncool by geting arrested because people do not find geting arrested cool.

What is Charmain's opinion of the boy?What does she mean by "guys like him"? Do you agree with her ? Why or why not?  Charmain's opinion on the boy is that he is no good and that Rodney should not take the bullet and he should just leave it there. She means that boys how try to do thing that are illegal will get arested by the police if they get caught doing it. I do agree with her that boy like him are always geting in trouble with the police and they do not always get arested for what they have done. I agree with this becaues she is saying the right thing that all people should know and do.

What do you think Rodney has learned from the events in the story? Rodney has learned that if some one pulls up behind you do not look at them or acknowledge them if them throw things out of there car leave it on the floor.

What do you think the author's theme or message was? What is your response to this? I think the message was if you are a kid do not get in peoples cars that you do not know and if they try to talk to you ignore them and keep walking. Also do not pick this up off the ground if you do not know where they have been.

Those textures where blend,splat,salt and drip. The drip one was the hardest because it would not drip down the page so you had to blow on it.

We had to do a picture dictation and a body chart and we had to do an iceberg. My body chart is about Benny's friend I. And the picture dictation was about a story called Benny. Oakley Creek

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays blogpost is about what we have been doing for read I have been reading a book called Oakley Creek. Once we have read the story we have to answer some questions abou the story.

Where is Faith going to meet Destiny? Faith is going to meet destiny at the dairy.

Why does Faith have mixed feelings about the day ahead?What does this teach us about her? because she gets to brag about going to Oakley Creek on Monday to all her friends but so has never lie to her mum and she does not know what she is meant to do. This is tell us that she loves and respects her mum but she also wants to impress her friends.

What morning chores did Faith have to do? She had to dry the dishes, wip the bench, make the beds and shak out the mat.

How does Faith know that the boys have reached the swimming hole first?
She knows that the boys have reached the swimming hole becaues she can hear splashing and people screaming and people talking.

Why does Miss think Faith is lucky? Becaues most Mums would probably not go look for there kid if they think some thing is up.

Does Faith agree?Why/why not?  Faith does not agree about it at all she feels like her mum sould have just stayed. She would have liked to stay with her friends and but when her mum came looking for her is feels angry and sad and that's she is not cool anymore.

Art week 8

I really like the way the charcoal makes it look better. some thing that I would do different is the pictures that I have done soem of them are not so planned. We had to outline are picture we had to use charcoal it was very messy to use. We had 3 they were contrast, tone and colour.

Drama Week 8

Hello fellow readers and welocme back todays blogpost is about what we have been doing for Drama. So for drama this week we have been doing freeze frames for drama. I freeze frame is we you have to hold a pose for 3 seconds  byut when you are doing the freeze frame you can not move at all. But your freezes frames must be about a movie or a book. For drama we also read a book called bok choy. Once we read the stroy we had to draw 6 main key points in the stroy. the stroy was about a boy that was drowning but a old man saves him. The old man brought the boy home and called his mother.

Benny

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays blogpost will be about a stroy called Benny. For the task we have to answer some questions about the stroy.

What are some of the differences between Benny and his friend? Benny is tall and his friends head reaches this armit. his friend is skinny and Benny is mostly muscle with a bit of fat.Benny is good at rugby but his friend would rather watch and his friend likes to watch league that rugby.

How does Benny's friend feel about Benny's new house? Benny's friend finds Benny's house very diffrent and is not so sure about Benny's new house.

How did the boys mother feel about the incident? Do you think her reactions are justifed? The boys mother waws not very happy about the incident at all she was very angre at Benny and his friend. I think boys mother kind of did the right thing but she could have done it a litte bit calmer.

What is the author's purpose in writing this text? How do you know? The author's purpose is to tell the story the right wayu and try to get the readers to understand what's happening in the story I know this because I read a book about what the purpose of a auther is.

What themes are explored in this text? The themes that are in the text are what not to do when you are at a beach and how your friends can not be very nice to you and any one you do not know.

Reading

Hello fellow readers and welocme back.Todays blogpost is about what we have been doing for reading we had to read a book the name of the book is Badge of honour. Once we have read the story we have to answer some questions about the book.


Describe Isaac's personality he is caring, kind, helpful and does not like to lie or like people who lie but he will lie to protect his friends.

 Who are the school captains and how do they feel about their role? The names of  the school captains are  Fai, Jess, Tomasi, Isaac.  Isaac feels a bubble of pride inside him and Tomasi does not care about being a school captain Fai loves being a school captain and is very proud of her role. Jess also loves her role as a school captain.

How does Fai feel about Tomasi?Use evidence to support your answer. Fai does not like Tomasi at all she thinks he is no good and not a good friend to have because he gets into a lot of fights with other people and lies to his friends.

What impression does the auther want to give of Fai? That she is a good person does not lie to people and is very trustworthy and will do good at her noew job as a school captain.

What advice would you give Isaac? Why?
He needs to be more open to what people say because he did not believe a single thing Fai said.
