Arts Kete

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays, blog post is about what i did for art kete last term. I did sphero art for this we had to learn how to drive a robot once we had the hang of it we all got to put it in paint and then drive it around to make a piece of art. It was very fun but also very messy. If we all ready how to drive the spheros we had to play some coding games.

Secondary and Primary

Hello fellow readers welcome back todays, blog post is about what we have been doing for Health and math. So for Health and maths we have been learning about primary and scondary sources we had to work with a partner my partener was Shelby we also had to do a D.L.O about it. I think Primary sources are better than secondary sources. I think that because they were were written when it actually happened instead of afater it happened.

Becoming a Martain

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays blog post is about what we have learnt so far in science when had to read a book about becoming a martain once we have read the stroy we have to answer some questions about the book.

A mission to Mars or from Mars can happen every twenty-six months and the reson why it has to be twenty-six months is because the two planets have to be at there closest point in there orbit. 

Two geological feature of Mars. Mars is know as the red plant this is because of its colour and this is caused by the large amounts of iron oxide.

 Mars also has a volcano on it call Olympus Mons this is one of the largest volcanos in the solar system. One of the ways that NASA is think of for mars is to  split water into hydrogen gas and oxgen but by doing this it would require lots of energy.

Water on Mars comes for ice caps but thes ice caps are coverd in thick layers of frozen carbon dioxide.  The solution for people to get food on mars would be for them to try and grow it this wpuld be hard but it could be possible to do.

2020 Hurumanu Learning Story

Hello fellow readers and welcome back, todays blogpost is about my learning story for art this term we had to do a lot of fun and not so fun activites for art but I loved have Miss b there she was a student teacher. Some of the things we had to do I had never done befor like the tapa cloth, weaving I had done a bit of weaving but not much so I kind of know what I was doing.

My Learning Story
Hurumanu:Poetic arts
Name: Felicity walsh	Teachers: Bh,Ds,Sc,ht, Miss B			Term	2020
Reflection: Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did:  Tapa cloth for this we had make it about a story called The Creation of Tuna. Watercolor art for this we had to do drip, splat, salt and splat. Weaving for this we had to weave in warm or cold colours.
What I Learned:  I learnt how to weave. The tapa cloth was very hard but was fun to do.  The watercolor textures that we did were interesting.  I learnt how do a diamante poem
My Favourite Part: One of my favourite parts was doing the watercolor art  My  favourite part was the tapa cloth because I have never done it before.  My favourite part was learning how to do a diamante poem.
My Next Steps: Learn how to do more types of  art. Get my blog posts done on time.   Stop listening to my friends and listen to the teacher.
