Heart Dissection

Hello fellow readers and welcome back todays blog post is about what we have been doing for science. The aim was to name some parts of the heart.I think I will see how it works and what it looks like on the inside. The method we did

Right side:

  1. From the superior vena cava, cut down the right side from the atrium to the ventricle.

  2. Identify the right atrium, ventricle and the valve.

  3. Follow from the ventricle up through the artery (pulmonary). Where does it go?

Left side:

  1. From the Pulmonary vein, cut down the left side from the atrium to the ventricle.

  2. Identify the left atrium, ventricle and the valves.

  3. Follow from the ventricle up through the artery (aorta). Where does it go?

Some things that we saw when we were cuting into the heart was Atrium, Vetlies, Valves, Artery, Vein, Septum they were all the things we saw.The results were thta I never now that the heart worked or looked like that. I think dissectioning the heart was fun and I really enjoyed cuting it open. Some things I learned what the pulmonary is and what it does it a artery that goes to the lunges the septum is what separates the left and right side of the heart. The heart strings are what stop the heart from explode and when the hear fulls with blood it stops it from explanding to far.
