In the late 1830s Maori population dropped to 100,000-80-70,00. The main two reasons Maori population dropped was because of war and diseases. The name of the main settlement in Aotearoa New Zealand at this time was Kororareka-Russel in the bay of lslands. The rangatira and missionarise were unhappy with what was happening to there town because the British were taking over, Partying, prostitution and not doing fair trade. The treaty of Waitangi was neglected because the British did not keep there promise they made in the treaty of Waitangi. In the 1833 the was a situation to stop what the British doing what they were doing to the maori it's called United Tribes of New Zealand. The Biritish saw france as a threat because they were trying to colrise New Zealand.  Edward Wakefield was sent to New zealand to set up the New zealand company. The British sent Hobson to New Zealand so thaat eveything would be fair when the Maori and British would trade. How many rangatira from around the county signed the treaty  5000 chife signed the treaty of waitangi.

  1. Ka pai Felicity. You have recalled all the main points from the video and written these in great sentences so show that you understand this history.
In the second paragraph, it should read that the Maori population dropped from 100,000 to 70,000-80,000.
Another suggestion would be to list your facts rather than putting them all in one big paragraph, as this makes them easier for someone to read on your blog.
Keep up the great work and excellent note-taking and summarizing skills.
