Hello fellow readers and welcome, back today's blog post is about what I have been doing in Home Economics. So in Home Economics, we had to make Chicken Stir Fry I was working in a group with 3 other people. I think we worked pretty well but we could have done better on the communication side of things but other than that we worked well. The Chicken Stir Fry was very yummy but the noodles in it did not taste very nice because we overcooked them and they became slimy. This time we got two, photos instead of one. The key nutrients in this recipe are chicken which contains protein and fat. Carrot and onion come under the vitamin category, noodles are carbohydrates, broccoli comes under protein and also is a source of vitamins. The red capsicum comes into the protein and water category as 92% of it is water. Peas belong to the vitamins.

Sauté chicken and onions together. Sauté means to cook quickly to brown.

Bring a pot of water to the boil

Hi Felicity. I do enjoy reading your Blog Posts.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see that you are able to taste that the noodles were overcooked by their texture. These sensory observations are important when assessing the final products in our Home Economics lessons.
You have made a good start with listing the nutrients in the ingredients used in this recipe. Are Broccoli and Red Capsicum proteins?
